Artist Statement

My aim in creating art is to make pieces that speak to people's inner selves. My work in portraiture is a way for me to express all of the parts that make us who we are. whether it be through hobbies, fashion, emotion, or any other personal orientation. My portraits are meant to be a space where the viewer can see the innermost pieces of themselves; parts that they are afraid to show to others. In viewing my art, I hope that the viewer will be inspired to live as their true authentic self.
